Quick answer
Give one point for every check the row clearly passes. Six or seven points makes it a strong shortlist candidate; four or five needs more research; three or fewer should usually leave the list for now.
The seven-point checklist
These checkboxes work in the current page only and are not saved or sent anywhere.
Score your row
The score is a browsing aid, not a quality grade or product verification. One serious mismatch—such as an unrelated destination—can outweigh several minor positives.
QC photos by category
QC photos should answer the questions that matter for the category. For shoes, that may be shape and alignment; for a jacket, it may be seams, lining and closures. A gallery is not useful simply because it contains many images.
Before you rely on a photo, match it to the product title, option and color. Compare the same angles across candidates and leave the photo box unchecked when you cannot connect an image to the exact item.
| Category | Photos that answer useful questions | Common missing clue |
|---|---|---|
| Shoes / sneakers | Both sides, toe, heel, sole, interior label | Size and shape from more than one angle |
| Hoodies / shirts / jackets | Front, back, seams, closures, fabric close-up | Measurements and fabric weight context |
| Pants | Front, back, waistband, hem, pocket details | Rise, inseam and waist method |
| Bags | Shape, lining, hardware, base, strap | Scale and internal layout |
| Watches / jewelry | Face or finish close-up, clasp, side profile | Dimensions and material wording |
| Electronics | Ports, labels, accessories and packaging contents | Compatibility and safety information |
Turn size labels into measurements
A useful chart states its units and makes clear whether the numbers describe the garment or the body. Compare those dimensions with a similar item you already own instead of relying on S, M or L alone.
For footwear, look for internal length, foot-length guidance or another usable dimension. If the product page stops at a regional size label, leave fit marked as unresolved.
Good row example and weak row example
Good hypothetical row
A didpop pants entry includes garment measurements, clear waistband and hem photos, a recognizable source URL and enough price context to compare similar cuts. Packed weight is still marked for review.
Weak hypothetical row
A row says “top quality pants,” links through an unclear redirect and shows no rise, inseam, back view or source context. A low displayed price does not repair the missing evidence.
One-sentence save rule
Save a row only when you can name the visible evidence that makes it worth comparing again.
What to do next
Open the matching category when the row has a clear item type. Read the weight guide if bulk may change the decision. Use the safety notes when a destination, seller claim or redirect is unfamiliar.
